THE SHORT ANSWER
As checked September 5, 2026, Del Webb markets Solara for an early-2027 opening. Treat that as a developer target, confirm each facility’s current status and ask how the opening affects dues and access.
- A conceptual rendering is not confirmation that a facility is open.
- Solara and the East Amenity Campus are separate plans.
- Evaluate the activity calendar and future ownership budget together.
Start with the developer’s dated opening target
The Sunchase community page checked September 5, 2026 advertises the approximately 18,000-square-foot Solara clubhouse with an early-2027 opening target. That is useful planning information. It is not a guarantee that every associated facility will open on the same day or that a particular buyer will have access by a chosen move date.
I would ask the sales team and community management for the latest status before making the timing central to your decision. Separate construction progress, anticipated opening and actual resident access. Those can be different milestones.
Know what the plans describe
The developer’s materials describe a fitness center and movement studio, gathering spaces, a golf simulator, pools, pickleball and bocce, along with Beachwood Tap bar and grille. The conceptual Solara plan helps you understand the intended layout. Final design, operating rules and completion still need confirmation.
The East Amenity Campus also has its own conceptual plan. Do not add every feature pictured across separate plans into one claim that everything is complete or included in the same opening milestone. Ask what belongs to each campus and what the current schedule is for that specific feature.
| Part of the lifestyle | Question to resolve |
|---|---|
| Solara clubhouse | What is the latest target and what must happen before resident access? |
| Fitness and courts | Which facilities are operating and which remain planned? |
| Pools | What opens in each phase, and what are the guest rules? |
| Beachwood Tap | What are the current opening, billing and dining policies? |
| East Amenity Campus | What is its separate scope and schedule? |
Look at the social calendar as well as the buildings
The September–October 2026 community newsletter reviewed for this guide describes resident activities, including outings, social gatherings, painting and Mahjong. That is evidence of community programming before the major clubhouse opening. It does not mean every event is free, open to guests or scheduled every week.
Ask for the current calendar and how registration works. If you want to make friends through a particular activity, ask whether it is running now, how often it meets and whether newcomers can join. An activity you will actually attend can tell you more about your fit than a long feature list.
Build the week you hope to have here
I would have you write an ordinary week rather than a vacation itinerary. Perhaps you want two mornings of exercise, a regular card group, time for a hobby and dinner with neighbors. Then identify which pieces need a particular facility and which can begin through current activities.
This helps you make a personal timing decision. If swimming on-site every day is essential from the first month, the pool’s actual opening status matters a great deal. If your priority is settling into the home and getting involved gradually, a developing activity schedule may feel different to you. Neither preference needs a universal ranking.
Let’s match the lifestyle to the way you want to live.
Ask me about your situationConnect the opening conversation to your budget
The historical Sunchase HOA sheet distinguishes dues before and after amenities and restaurant operation. That means the lifestyle timeline and the ownership budget belong in the same conversation. Use the full fees article for the dated amounts, then obtain the current approved figures and trigger.
Ask which charges are included, which services are optional and how guests are treated. A dining obligation, class fee or event charge can have a different billing structure from ordinary association dues. You should understand how your expected routine fits the actual rules.
Make the decision with both today and later in view
There can be real appeal in joining a community while it is growing. There can also be construction and uncertainty that you need to be comfortable with. I would make both parts visible and avoid buying solely around an opening date that can change.
Use the plans and videos to understand the vision, then use written updates and your own priorities to evaluate the purchase. If you are comparing other communities, apply the same test there: what is available now, what is planned, what does it cost and how often will I use it? That is how a resort-style description becomes a useful buying decision.
